How to Delete a User in QuickBooks?
If you delete a user it will not delete its activities from the activity log. You can follow the below steps to delete any user;
- Click on the Gear icon
- Under your company, options go to Manage user options
- At the right side of the user name, select edit drop-down under the action column and then delete the user
- If any confirmation message is coming, click on yes
- Once the user is deleted you will get the confirmations message

How to Add a New User?
- Go to settings
- Then manage users
- If you are not able to choose above option manage users it means you are not authorized to manage another user, for the same contact to admin
- Select the Add user
- Select the user type
- Elect more option a per you are selecting the option type
- Enter the new user name and email address
- Click on save
How to Delete a Customer in QuickBooks?
You can delete any user in 2 ways as listed below.
Option 1:
- Go to Sales Menu at the left panel
- Pick the customers tab
- Select a customer, after that edit the customer details tab
- Select the make Inactive button
- Click on yes for the confirmation
Option 2:
- Go to the customer tab
- Select the customer’s tab which you want to delete
- Select batch actions dropdown
- Select make inactive
- Select yes for the confirmation
